Story
In Feb this year I was diagnosed with a rare form of cervical cancer. Luckily it was caught in the early stages.
As a result, in March I had to have a full radical hysterectomy to hopefully remove all the cancer, followed by a long recovery. I don't want your pity or inspirational quotes on my wall, instead I want your support and money.
I've done the race for life the last two year and promised I'd do it every year. So 18th July I will be doing the 10k race for life. What better goal to aim for after the op.
Too many people are affected by this shitty disease so please dig deep and help me beat it.
Update... I'm now feeling much better 12 weeks on from the surgery, have healed well and feel more my old self... Sadly I now need 6 weeks of daily radiotherapy as the doctors want to give it a final blast to reduce the chance of it not returning, starting today.
