<p>Hello there family, friends and kind supporters,</p>
<p> </p>
<p>This year I'm running two half marathons, two weeks apart - which is a bit like a full marathon with a long rest half way around. <span style="color: #1c1c1c; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px; background-color: #ffffff;">And I'm raising money for two worthy causes.</span></p>

<p>I'm training hard so I can try and put in a good time!</p>

<p>This is the first of the two and it's the 'Nike+ Run to the Beat' marathon starting at the O2 in London.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>I'm raising money for Bromley Y ( http://www.bromley-y.org.uk/ ) which is a small independent counselling service for young people in South London. They helped me personally when I had a few troubles in my 20s and provided an invaluable service for which I am eternally grateful. I can safely say I would not be the person I am today without their assistance. The time I spent at Bromley Y gave me a safe, supportive environment in which to address the issues I was having and helped me to rebuild my confidence and let me move on with my life. </p>

<p>So if you would like to support a fantastic service that continues to help hundreds of troubled young people in the South London area then please dig deep and donate.</p>
