My story

Hiya

As I'm sure you know by now, I'm running the Brighton Marathon 2012 on 15th April - Thats 26.2 miles in case you were wondering.

I'm running for a great charity called Find your Feet - you can see all the good work they do at http://www.find-your-feet.org/ - They will explain far better than I ever can.

For my part, I'm running the marathon (obviously) - but that's not the whole story:

I've been working very hard to train and get fit for this. I've lost over 47 lb (21 kg) in weight since last september by being very very strict in what I eat. Anyone who knows how much food I can put away (junk and otherwise) will truly appreciate how hard that is for me !!!

I've been running 5 days a week most weeks since november (Including Chrismas morning !). I'd never run outside before I started training - my first outdoor run was 1.1 miles at the beginning of November and that was painful !. Now I'm up to a 14 mile run (as of 4th feb) - soon to be 18 and 20 !!!

So there's a bit about what I'm doing for this. Now I'd like you to do something too......yeah you know whats coming :)

I'm not asking you to run or even give up food you love (like I have !!!).

If and only if you can afford to, I'd like you to give as much as you are comfortable giving for this worthwhile cause. As much or as little as you are able to manage would be very grateful.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and if nothing else.....please wish me luck - I'm gonna need it !!!!!!!

Warm Regards
Ket
