Let's get one thing clear - every penny donated on this website will go to the charity Child's i Foundation.  Your money will not in any way shape or form be used to fund my trek - I'm taking care of that myself!

On 1st August 2010 me and hopefully a team of at least 7 other courageous volunteers are aiming to conquer Africa's highest peak - Mount Kilimanjaro.  And for some reason, still unbeknown to me, I have taken it upon myself to orgainse this whole trip one tenny tiny step at a time.

Along the way, we hope to raise as much money as possible for Child's i Foundation - a charity and worldwide community set up to build a home for abandoned babies in Uganda.  We aim to resettle children back into families and give them something we believe every child has a right to – a loving home.

The charity was set up in 2008 by my friend Lucy Buck, who gave up her well paid TV series producer job in favour of helping others.  Some of you will know Lucy, some may have heard about CiF, some of you will be new to all of this.  But I hope all of you take the little time it takes to sponsor us, whatever you can afford and make a real difference to these children's lives.
