You may know I was quite involved in the early days of the Red Shoe Campaign to help Assis and her fab team get the whole thing off the ground. Since then I've just watched from afar as the whole idea has come to life. I was knocked out by their remarkable achievements when it opened... and since then I just continue to hear fabulous things about Dance East at so many levels in the community... it's just such a great asset for the town... bigger and better than I imagined.

Anyway... getting it off the ground is one thing, but to continue turning their brilliant ideas into reality and taking the Dancehouse from strength to strength they'll always need a little help from us.

So... I'm about to make an arse of myself at what is billed to be the fashion event of the year. I and a handful of other local businessmen will be strutting what stuff we've got in some sort of female regalia on the catwalk at the DanceEast Charity Fashion Show at the Jerwood Danchouse, Ipswich on Friday 1st October...

All I ask is that you bung me a couple of quid to hand over to the guys and girls at Dance East so they can continue to do their magic.
