<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p>
<p><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">A few months ago (whilst under the influence of a few cold beers) I agreed to take part in a bike ride from Lands End to John O Groats, starting 5th August 2011. At the time, I had no real idea of what was involved, but I soon realised it would be a mammouth challenge!</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">The route will be over 1000 miles and will be completed in 14 days (hopefully). There will be 13 of us and we will average over 80 miles per day, with the longest day being 110 miles.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">Training is well under way and the group are clocking up the miles whenever possible.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">This will clearly be a very hard challenge and I hope this will inspire people to sponsor me. My chosen charity is Cancer Reseach UK. I have chosen this charity as Cancer affects a great deal of people and has had a direct effect on my own family. It is a great cause so any donation, big or small, shall be greatly received!!</span></p>
