I will be taking part in a one hundred km trek across the sahara desert in october to raise money for Help For Heroes as many of you will know this charity means alot to me as i have myself been in the army and have many friends still serving. The duration of the trip is ten days with eight days trekking and a day either side for travelling.

I need to raise at least one thousand pound by 1st august or i will not be able to take part in the trek.

As you probably well know the sahara is Hot and this will be a very hard challenge but i am looking forward to it and hope you can find it in your hearts(or pockets) to donate.
