Women are still getting breast cancer and dying from it. That’s why Breast Cancer Campaign and Breakthrough Breast Cancer have joined forces to become the UK’s largest dedicated breast cancer research charity. And with your help, together we can put an end to breast cancer, once and for all.

Story

Hi,

Thanks for visiting my page.

Well it's all over for another year and I'm delighted to say that due to your generosity (and with the benefit of Gift Aid) you've raised nearly £1,500 for the Breast Cancer Campaign.

The race itself went well - it certainly felt more comfortable than last year and I was able to knock 15 minutes off my 2005 time to finish in 3 hours 43 minutes.

It was wet and it was drizzly but that didn't stop people turning out in force. The last few miles felt strong (unlike last year!) so there's a sneaking feeling at the back of my mind that I'll have to do it again just to see how many more minutes I can shave off my 2006 time...

Many thanks for your support.

Kevin
