Erb's Palsy Group offers advice and information on the injury Erb's Palsy/Obstectric Brachial Plexus Paralysis. We do this by giving support to parents, adults and children, putting parents in contact with each other, newsletters and information leaflets and also holding annual events for families.

<p><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">London to Paris on a bicycle in under 4 days!!!!.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>No experience of riding a bike except for cycling on my bright blue grifter annoying all the residents in the dark back streets of Croydon in the 70&rsquo;s !!!</span><span style="font-size: 13px;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Scary and brave stuff you may shout!!!!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>But growing up as a child in the ever-changing face of Croydon is like scooping the quadruple rollover on the Euro Lottery compared to sitting on a saddle the width of a lollypop for 300 miles !!!!</span><span style="font-size: 13px;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">So why am I doing this?</span><span style="font-size: 13px;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Well, Chris Wollen my business partner sent me one of his many many emails we send each other on a daily basis but this particular email caught my attention&hellip;.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: 13px;">&ldquo;London to Paris on a cycle in under 4 days, starting at&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: 13px;">Crystal Palace in&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: 13px;">the early hours of the 9 May and&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: 13px;">finishing at the Eifel Tower three days later.</span><span style="font-size: 13px;">&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: 13px;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">It took me a Nano second to agree to this with Chris&hellip;. On what is a fantastic opportunity to raise as much funds as I possibly can for a charity cause that is very close to me, hence my kind request to all of you that are taking the time to read this email.</span><span style="font-size: 13px;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Erbs Palsy Group (also known as Brachial Plexus Paralysis) my reasons why are as follows&hellip;.</span></strong><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">My son George was diagnosed with the condition Erbs Palsy shortly after he was born in June 1999.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Erbs Palsy is a condition which mainly due to birth trauma, can affect 1 or all 5 primary nerves that supply the movement and feeling to an arm.</span><span style="font-size: 13px;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">The paralysis can be partial or complete; the damage to each nerve can range from bruising to tearing. Some babies recover on their own however some may require specialist intervention.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">We fortunately discovered the Erbs Palsy Group and taking their advice, after consultation, George immediately received specialist intervention. George from a baby has needed 3 operations and multiple visits to the Royal National Orthopedic Hospital to check his progress and in particular with the possibility of further operations in the future.</span><span style="font-size: 13px;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Erbs Palsy Group is a voluntary run organization founded, organized and run by parents who themselves have children affected by Erbs Palsy.
