My personal message:

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. As you can see, I'm attempting to run the Wilmslow Half marathon this year and am hoping to raise funds for the Manchester Children''s hospitals. A little info on the specific charity appeal is on the left underneath the photo of the reprobate. More detail can be found on www.fivestarsappeal.co.uk   Those who know of our experiences over the years will understand our indebtedness and gratitude to the hospitals and the staff and I am grateful for the opportunity to do a little in return - aswell as losing a little of my excess baggage around the waist - perhaps a harder feat !  I aim to finish the distance, so if you wish to predict a time ( or distance at which I collapse !) then I'll donate an extra £50 in your name to the closest to the actual.

If you are unable to donate through this method, please feel free to offer support, abuse, ridicule or predict a time / distance by e-mailing kevharkin@hotmail.com

Official speak :
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Wallness Childrens Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please, if you wish, sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

Kevin

Update :

Thanks to all for your unswerving support ! I managed to complete the race in a time of 2hrs, 19 mins and 1 sec. If only I'ld trained a bit harder I could have trimmed that one second off my time ! The next challenge could be on the way !!!
