My personal message:

Hi.! Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online (or call me for offline sponsorship!), for my first ever Marathon!

As some of you may or may not know, my Dad, John died back in 1991 of a Heart Attack, at the young age of 47. He had run London Marathon twice, and was a full time Firefighter, so was a relatively fit man.

Heart disease can affect anybody, at any time, and at any age. So now, before I turn 40 (!) in October, I am running the streets of London in April to raise funds in memory of my Dad.

So from now until 13th April 2008, I am off the beer (I know some of you will find that hard to believe!), I am training, very hard,(Have run my first half marathon..) to get round the 26.2 miles.
