Hi everyone. On the Sunday 5th October at Windsor Leisure Centre I'm doing a sponsored swim, in aid of young carers in the Windsor area. Young carers are children who look after someone in their family who has an illness, disability or mental health problem. These children don't get much of an opportunity to lead a 'normal' childhood - they often bear the sort of emotional caring responsibilities that would be expected of an adult, and don't get the chance to enjoy themselves.

The swim isn't exactly climbing Mount Everest - it's just an hour's constant swimming alongside a number of the young carers and other adults. The money we raise will support outings and activities for these carers, and it's a cause I'd like to support, so  I'd be very grateful if you would consider making a small donation.
