We have been busy working away trying to find locations for shooting, cameras that we can borrow and getting a plot line together - we are almost ready to go, with just a few weeks before we undertake the craziest week of our lives - a whole movie, in ONE week! I have no idea how we are going to fit it all in!
However, the reason we are doing it - to support Nexus, which is in my opinion the best place ever! A Christian music school that is teaching a generation of young musicians how to be excellent on thier instruments and people of intergrity and who know and love God. Without the money raised this year (Our target is £25,000) we will be unable to keep up the amazing work that takes place here! Please help, if there is any part of you that see's the great work Nexus does.

Every year at Nexus we hold a week of fundraising events. This enables us each and every year to continue offering the high level of training and discipleship that is available at Nexus. Without the money raised each year, we would be unable to provide new equipment, maintenance of the building, providing new opportunities for a new generation of Kingdom musicians.

THE EVENTS!
This year we have 5 fantastic events.
Junk Raft - 4 teams of four people will be building their own rafts made out of recyclable materials. They will then race the other teams throughout the week, having to completely self-sustain and maintain their boats as they travel.
Vocal Revolutoin - a team of 6 people will be teaching 1000 people a beginner vocal lesson, in just one week!
Cycle Powered Busking - With a set of bikes, hooked up to generators, a team of cyclists will be charging batterys, that will then be used to power a band who will go busking in near by town centres.
Football World Record - With a few drumming world records under our belt, we thought we would try something different this year - we are trying to break the world record for longest marathon playing football, currently at 60 hours, we are aiming for a crazy 72!!
Movie in a week - After the success of our previous musicals, we wanted to step up a little - in just one week we will be creating a MOVIE! A feature length film that will completely filmed, edited and prepared during the week, ready to show on the Friday night!
