Story

Hi, welcome to our sponsorship page

Thanks for taking the time to see what we have done and more importantly why did we do it?

14 of us from Kettering General Hospital, Accident and Emergency Department and Cardiac Care Centre climbed the 3 Peaks

This was a daunting challenge, we left kettering on Friday 19th June and drove 450 miles up to Fort William in Scotland, climbed Ben Nevis at 5am on Saturday 20th June, drove 175 miles down to Cumbria climbed Sca Fell Pike drove 102 miles and climbed Snowdon on Sunday 21st a total walking distance of more than 26 miles up and down the 3 biggest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales.

Wow, this was a challenge, so why did we do this?

Quite simply we wanted more equipment particularly within the A&E Department, and want to raise as much money as possible to allow us to buy this.

This challenge was awesome, a real personal adventure for each one of us, and a great team effort.

We have done our bit, and are now very proud '3 peakers' but we'd really appreciate it if you could help by donating to our charity, no matter how small the amount, it will all help

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Kettering General Hospital Charity Fund gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thanks, on behalf of the 'uphill strugglers'.
