On the 10th of August 2010, Amin Ur Rehman,Natalie Nats Awdry, Khan Rasshad and Fuad Hasan Khan four MSc Students of the University of Sheffield go without sleep to raise money for the affectees of the flood in Pakistan.
Nele Glang will be assisting them during this entire endeavour.
Natalie and Amin will be sleep deprived for 37 hours in remembrance of the 37,000 houses that were swept away in the floods.
Rasshad and Fuad Hassan Khan will be joining them for 24 hours sleep deprivation.
The 2010 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa floods occurred in July 2010 after heavy monsoon rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. At least 1,100 people were killed, thousands were rendered homeless, and more than a million people were affected.
Estimates from rescue service officials suggest the death toll may reach 3,000 victims.
Donate generously as Amin, Rasshad, Natalie and Fuad go without sleep .
They will wake up 8:00 Tuesday morning and continue their day like normal (considering that it is a weekday).
On Wednesday, they are going to make a large flag of Pakistan on campus to raise awareness and much needed funds for this worth while appeal.
