Well we made it!
We ran all 13.1 miles of the Blackpool Half Marathon, inlcuding some hilly bits, to raise funds for children in Wales affected by kidney disease and renal failure....
It's not too late to donate to us - every penny really does make a difference.
Why?
- Because each year more and more children are being diagnosed with kidney failure. Beacause waiting lists for transplants remain at record levels. Because some children must spend up to 6 hours a day, four times a week on dialysis.
Funds raised will go towards:
- Projects aimed at helping some of the many children in Wales whos lives are dependent on dialysis because of renal failure. A complete refurbishment of the Children's Kidney Unit in Cardiff, which cares for patients from all over Wales. Providing new state-of-the-art dialysis machines.
