Currently 12 under 35 year olds die every week from undiagnosed heart conditions in the UK alone and a simple ECG that lasts just 10 minutes, is painless and costs just £ 35.00 could identify those at risk who can then be treated. Our aim is to raise sufficient funds to pay for CRY to bring the Phillips Mobile ECG unit to Essex and carry out ECG screening. For every £ 20 donated through gift aid and Grassroots Endowment Match Challenge we can pay for an ECG. If you are 35 years old or younger and would like to have an ECG scan (I would recommend it) please donate whatever you can but I would suggest £ 20.00 and then contact me Geoff Formby via facebook and I will include you on the list. If you can donate more than £ 20.00 we would be very grateful.

The Kieran Formby Memorial Fund is being managed by Essex Community Foundation. They will administer the fund and provide all of the benefits of Charity registration. This is a chance to make a real difference as, currently, we can get an additional £1 from the Government for every £ 2 raised through the Grassroots Endowment Match Challenge. If you are a taxpayer this boost can be further enhanced by Gift Aid leading to the gift being almost doubled.
