Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I am racing in the Yukon River Quest at the end of June to raise money for the Lymphoma Association, more specifically LIFE (lymphoma information for everyone) who help young people fighting lymphoma. The Yukon River Quest is the world's longest annual canoe and kayak marathon that takes place between Whitehorse and Dawson City in Canada. The race covers 460 miles and my goal is to complete it in 65 hours (give or take...to be honest I'll be glad to finish in one piece!!). This means I will be paddling constantly for two stints of over 30 hours with a compulsory 7 hour stop in the middle. As I'm sure you can appreceate, I will hit some very low points during the race and I know that the thought of letting down the people who have sponsored me will spur me on. Please dig deep and help out!
