Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm taking on 85 miles of cycling for everyone that knows me to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer Scotland - launch the Live Well Campaign, the first UK-wide dementia carers programme.

It is estimated that 1 in 3 people in the UK (that's us) will have dementia by the time they die. I've been unfortunate to know someone close to me that falls in that figure.

I will be cycling amongst 250 cycling enthusiatics on June 7th this year, starting and finishing point of Callander, Scotland. I want to complete the course in a personal best. Your donation deserves that.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity
