Kieron was diagnosed with cancer in March 2004 and has been on treatment for Accute Lymphoblastic Leukeamia ever since.He should finish his treatment program in May 2007. He is a very brave little boy who has fought through some hard times and some nasty medications to stay alive. He is at present doing very well and we hope he continues to do so for a long time to come. It is because of charity's like cancer research that new treatments are found and practised all the time and the percentage rate of survivors is increasing all the time. Kieron is currently in a hospital trial that will hopefully save even more lives. I am doing this sponsered swim on behalf of my brave son and am asking you to give whatever you can every little helps. I am hoping to raise in excess of 250.00 for the charity but if i can exceed this amount then all the better.
Anyone that has been touched by cancer will know exactly why i am doing this for kieron because he has benefited so much from the good work cancer research does and i hope that more people will continue to do so.
