Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

I am attempting to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in October with 5 friends.  I am hoping to raise much needed money for The Home Farm Trust.  The Trust is a charity set up to support those with learning difficulties.

My brother Adrian has downsyndrome and has benefited enormously  from the charity.  I am hoping to do something to give back to The Home Farm Trust.  It is a charity that has given my brother opportunities that  he would have otherwise not had.

Setting out in early October we aim to climb Kilimanjaro, the world's tallest free-standing mountain.  Travelling through five climatic regions we will most likely have to contend with a wide range of temperatures (-30 deg. to +70 deg f.) together with the very high altitude.  With 4 or 5 climbers out of 10 failing to reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point on Kilimanjaro, the world famous landmark represents a major trekking challenge.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Home Farm Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support..
