In September/October 2009 I will be joining 30 musicians, cancer survivors and supporters as we embark upon another symbolic pilgrimage to Uhuru, the 19,341ft peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. This adventure/fundraiser is not for the faint of heart and will challenge our bodies and willpower as we climb the world’s largest free-standing mountain. We will do so in order to bring love, hope and strength to the people of East Africa.

I will paying for my own flight costs to get to Tanzania and the US$5,000 of the trek but have also committed to raising US$9,000 for the Love Hope Strength Foundation to support the main cancer center in East Africa, located in Nairobi, Kenya.  Please give generously to help me meet my fundraising target.
