We want every child in the UK with a neurodisability like cerebral palsy - and their families - to have access to learning and life changing therapy, aligned with our Pace approach. Our specialist clinical, education and therapy teams work with babies, children & young people from 0-18.

Story

On the 2nd March, three friends climbed to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise funds for PACE OUTREACH.

Isabelle and Melanie made it to the highest peak Uhuru Point (5,895 mts) and Anna made it to Gilman's Point (5,685 mts).

PACE is an educational centre in Aylesbury for children with cerebral palsy and other physical difficulties. They have a programme called OUTREACH which helps the children in their own school environment and in their home.

Anna has a son, Myles, who has severe learning and physical difficulties. For the past 12 years PACE OUTREACH has supported Myles at school and at home. Anna was told soon after Myles was born that he would probably never be able to walk. It is only due to the ongoing intensive support and programmes implemented by PACE that Myles is able to walk. Myles’ life has been transformed by their programmes and dedication.

We are aiming to raise £7,500 to help towards funding PACE's Outreach Programme which operates in schools and homes so that as many children as possible can benefit from their programmes.

We are very grateful for whatever amount you wish to donate, and if you can, do take time to look at what PACE does.

Thank you very much for all of you that have donated so incredibly generously,

Anna Vernon-Evans, Isabelle Durnford and Melanie Franke
