About my charity : Friends of Amani (UK) formerly Guerba for Good Friends of Amani (UK) formerly Guerba for Good
Amani Children's Home takes care of orphans and street-children at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. It rescues children from malnutrition, homelessness, and abuse. Amani supports over 140 children and is committed to providing a safe place for children to grow in mind, body and spirit. See www.amanikids.org.

I am Alexandre, 14 years old and living in Braine-le-Comte, Belgium. I am planning to climb the Kilimanjaro (the highest mountain in Africa!) during the month of February 2009, together with my father. The whole trip is fully self-funded, and all the money that we raise will be 100% donated to the Amani Kids Home.
