Story
Thanks for visiting my page
In January 2010 Capita has given me an excellent opportunity to climb what is Africa’s highest peak and the tallest free standing mountain in the World, Mount Kilimanjaro! At 5895 feet high with temperatures which go below -24Degrees it is going to be a massive challenge, hopefully a good experience and i should get some great visuals of Africa. I’ve been told to watch out for a few things A) Getting lost! B) Altitude sickness! C) Wild animals! D) Freezing conditions and well... a pretty high drop! It is not going to be an easy climb but I am training hard, and even watching Ray Mears (You never know!).
This trip also gives an incredible opportunity for me to raise money for a very good charity, Macmillan Cancer Support. Cancer unfortunately affects everybody and what Macmillan does is improves the lives of everybody affected by cancer by providing practical, medical and financial support.
I know the economic times are not ideal however any donation you are able to provide in sponsoring me for this climb will go a long way.
Every penny will go to Macmillan Cancer Support
Thank you for your contribution and if you would like to follow me on the trip please email me and I will keep you updated with pics and vids.
