My story

COULD YOU DO IT?

We leave on the 12 February 2010 for our 7 day trek and climb up the Machame Route, Mt Kilimanjaro - the tallest free-standing mountain in the world.  It stands over 5,900m high, where the oxygen is half what it is at sea level!  Please support us in our challenge by donating as much as you can to support our chosen charity, fly2help so they can continue to bring smiles to the faces of those who need it most!

fly2help uses flying as a means of "turning ordinary days into extraordinary adventures".  They work with the terminally ill, chronically sick, bereaved and people who may need a "life boost" - they could be suffering from neglect or abuse, be mentally ill or have a disability or injury.  fly2help gives all of these people an opportunity to leave their worries on the ground and be treated like a VIP!  Each beneficiary receives a bespoke event day which is recorded on camera providing them with invaluable, positive memories to be cherished.

We have voluntarily spent time working with fly2help and seen for ourselves what a difference it can make to a child or family in need of time-out.  Seeing them smile and experience the freedom of flight (some of which have never been flying before!) whilst letting them temporarily forget their worries, is priceless.

Everyday there are people, especially children, who are facing challenges which are stretching them physically, mentally and emotionally.   They are experiencing things that you or I will hopefully never have to contemplate.  Please support us and give whatever you can........

Huge thank yous from us both! XXX
