We had a successful trip achieving the summit of Kilimanjaro. Thank you to all who supported us over the past 8 months.

On the 25th of September 2009 we embark on a challenge to scale Mount Kilimanjaro. We take the challange to raise  funds for a charity named Action Against Hunger http://www.aahuk.org/.

For over 25 years, Action Against Hunger has been at the forefront of the fight against hunger and malnutrition worldwide. Their teams do their utmost day after day to ensure that people are given access to the most basic of human rights - the right to food. 

We have pledged to raise a bond of £2,000 as part of our challenge. The money raised will help Action Against Hunger meet their objectives.      

·         £27 can buy a survival kit to save a severely malnourished child, including therapeutic milk and nutritional products and medicine.

·         £500 can buy a weeks supply of therapeutic milk, nutritional products and medicine for 50 children in a Therapeutic Feeding centre.

·         £1,000 can help Action Against Hunger provide communities with clean water – a vital component of a community’s health and well-being.
