So the time has come to bring KiliViaVegas to a close. In summary we raised nearly £16,000 (including the £1,500 gift aid).
I owe all my sponsors heartfelt thanks. I loved the challenges and love the fact even more that we made a real difference for Honeypot Kids

Activity details were:
Mount Kilimanjaro: Uhuru Peak reached at 8.25am, 4th January 2009) via Las Vegas Half Marathon on 7th December 2008 - completed 1hr 48m 54s.
I am currently in training for a Spring Marathon but that one's just for fun - the next Charity challenge will be between October2009 and January 2010 - whatever it is it will be tougher than KiliViavegas - promise!
As a reminder here is what our fundraising will assist with:
£5,000 pays for 12 children to have a week long holiday in a safe, friendly environment and £1,000 supports a child for a year, £4,000 supports a child from 5-12 through their whole Honeypot journey, £90 pays for 3 Playbus visits to the child's community . For more info go to www.honeypot.co.uk .
A little makes a big difference for these kids and allows them to be children, even for a short while.
