Challenge Adventure Charities - The Alpine Challenge · 25 September 2009 ·

For 25 years, we have organised cycle events, mainly in Europe. We have raised a huge £4,378,361 mainly for cancer, heart and other medical research. We pride ourselves that EVERY PENNY that has been raised has been paid to charity - our participants paying the full fees for event entry themselves.

Story

The Alpine Challenge is for teams of four to cycle in relay over 500 miles in three days from Laon in north eastern France to Annecy in the French Alps raising a minimum of £1000 for charity.
Whilst teams can donate half of what they raise to a charity of their own choice, the remainder will be donated to MacMillan Cancer Care and Cancer Research UK.

The challenge takes place between September 24th and September 28th. Lots of hard training has taken place for many months before this (None harder than the enormous inclines in the Devon countryside!!)
