ACE (Animal Care in Egypt) gives free veterinary care and treatment to all kinds of neglected and abused animals (but mainly donkeys and horses) at its Centre in Luxor, Egypt. ACE also runs an education programme with local schools to ensure better animal welfare standards in the future.

ACE is a veterinary hospital which makes no charge to the poor people of Luxor for treating their working animals. The poor people rely heavily on their animals in order to earn money to feed, clothe and house their families.

I have just been informed that due to the recent flu outbreak in Luxor and the huge costs involved in treating all the cases we had in, ACE now, once again, only has two months money left in reserve.

This is a serious situation and we desperately need all thinking caps on as to how to raise money, and get us out of this hole.

For now, please send whatever you can, and tell everyone you know to do the same. Please email me with any other suggestions you have of ways we can raise funds.
