My mum and I are trying to raise money for the Stroke Unit at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals, as this unit has a special place in our hearts due to looking after nan/mum for a long time.

To raise money for the Stroke Unit, mum and I are going to lose 5 stone between us with the help of our slimming world groups in 3 months!!

Let's raise money and make this happen.

Patients who require a stay at the Stroke Unit are often the longest stay in the hospital. Currently they have no day room which means either paying excess money on the patient T.Vs or going without just sitting at their bed space.

Stroke Unit are trying to raise funds to build a day room. This would give the patients a different environment to socialise with each other and their families and in turn this will aid their recovery.

Let's make this day room happen.
