Hi,

Thanks for visiting my page.  This is an exciting challenge that I will have to work and train hard for! I am off to Norway where over 5 days I will travel approx. 160km in charge of my own dog sledding team of 4-6 huskies!

This is an opportunity to experience something I will never forget, with my very own team of Alaskan Huskies amidst a frozen landscape up to 300 miles north of the Arctic Circle in Norway, with nothing to hear but the panting of dogs and the crunching of snow underfoot.

I will be a member of a 10-strong team, complete strangers to me at first,  will be given expert training in dog sledding and be instructed on how to handle my team of dogs and how to negotiate a sled through some of the most breathtaking terrain.

I will have to drill holes in the frozen lakes to get water for my dogs! Temperatures will average between -8 and -15!! And I do not like the cold!!! Thats a challenge in itself!!
