Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I DID IT - 4 hours 52 minutes of slogging it out in the sunshine - but all in a very good cause and when I finished (finally....) I could start to appreciate the sun, rather than cursing it!
A very big thank you for all those that sponsored me - it really helped spur me on as I made my way through the miles - especially between the 17 and 20 mark, which was where it really started to hurt!!
A big thank you to Lifetrain also, for giving me a place and an opportunity to be part of such a great experience.....if any one fancies running for them next year - I am sure hey would appreciate hearing from you - go on, you know you want to.....!
Monday and Tuesday were interesting from a walking perspective, think geriatric duck/penquin....stiff wasn't the word.....am almost back to normal though now - I can even walk downstairs forwards (what joy!) - and wondering if I could be persuaded to do it all again next year.....watch this space...!
