Flora London Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

AFK is a disability and neurodiversity charity providing support to children and young people across the UK. We assist young people in accessing specialised mobility equipment that isn't available on the NHS and routes to paid employment in an effort to close the disability employment gap.

Story

Ok, I am going to do the London Marathon again! I know I assured many of you after last year that I would never run it again, but the pain has receeded and I have decided to try one more time. This is definitely the last time.

So once again I am looking for support (mental) and sponsorship (money). In recognition of the current recession,  I will match every pound donated. So not only will I be giving in terms of my time and body to train for and run 26,2 miles but also in terms of my purse.

My chosen charity is the same as last year - Action for Kids.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Action For Kids gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are all added to your donation.

So please support me and sponsor - Action for Kids
