Story
Hi there!
Thank you for visiting my page. I am going to be forty on the 8th of June. The last 40 years have been pretty eventful one way or another. Something that has deeply affected my life and my family has been pre-eclampisa. My Granny Lee's first baby was stillborn after pre-eclampsia, my mother spent weeks on bed rest with high blood pressure whilst she was pregnant with me, both my pregnancies were also affected; Ally was born seven weeks early and Clemmie two weeks early. Recent research has shown that women who suffer from pre-eclampsia are more likely to suffer from high blood pressure in later life - so I have a lot to look forward to!
For the past five years I have been a Trustee of a Action on Pre-Eclampsia. We are a very small charity, but we work hard and I believe that we do make a difference. We don't have very much money and rely entirely on donations.
In many ways I have had a very fortunate life. I have two lovely children a fantastic family and an interesting job, it would be lovely to have lots of presents for my birthday, but it would be even better if you would donate some money to Action on Pre-Eclampsia instead.
much love
Kim
