Thank you for visiting Marie Curie Cancer Care's fundraising page for our Lights to Remember Appeal. We really appreciate your support!
Marie Curie Cancer Care are giving the people of Kingston the chance to remember those family members and friends that they have lost over the years by encouraging them to sponsor a light on the ‘Tree of Remembrance’ in the market place in Kingston Town Centre.
The ‘Lights to Remember’ Appeal is running throughout the Christmas period and concludes in a moving ceremony in the All Saints Church in Kingston Marketplace on Saturday 15 December where there will be mulled wine, minced pies, carols and readings from the Deputy Mayor and actress Amanda Burton.
Local people can sponsor a light on the tree and we will put the name of their loved one along with any message in the Marie Curie ‘Book of Remembrance’ which will be displayed in the church on the evening of the ceremony and for the months afterwards.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Marie Curie Cancer Care will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
All donations will go towards paying for home nursing care for terminally ill patients, giving them the choice to end their lives in the comfort and familiar surroundings of their own homes.
Thank you so much for your support!
