Cotswold Way Walk · 19 July 2010

Since 1987 Scannappeal has raised over £19m for life saving and life changing medical equipment for hospitals in Bucks, particularly for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients. Every 10 minutes a patient in the local area is diagnosed or treated with equipment funded by Scannappeal.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Starting on Monday 19th July, a team of people , a ramble of ramblers or  a knacker of walkers will attempt to walk the Cotswold way. The team will walk the 103 mile path Chipping Campden and Bath and aim to do this in only three and half days. I am raising  money for Scannappeal's Cancer fighting fund.

1 in 3 people in the UK develop cancer at some time in their lives and, sadly, everyone knows someone who has died from cancer or who is suffering from cancer at the moment. Read about our Appeals to make a difference to the detection and treatment of this disease.  Our £150,000 Appeal at Wycombe Hospital is for equipment for the rapid diagnosis and treatment of prostate and bladder cancer.

Thank you
