Story
I'm due to ride the Kirklees Sportive event on Sunday the 27th of April. This is easily going to be the hardest ride I've done in a very long time, the route covers 87 miles and includes 6 big climbs (Holme Moss and Wessenden amongst those). I'm expecting it to take about 6 hours and have booked the following day off work to recover!
I thought this would be an ideal opportunity to raise some money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. As you may know, CF is the UK's most common life-threatening inherited disease, it affects over 8,000 people in the UK (including me). Cystic Fibrosis affects the internal organs, especially the lungs and digestive system, making it hard to breathe and digest food.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cystic Fibrosis Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
