Palace to Palace 2017 · 1 October 2017 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Hello!

I have signed up for Palace to Palace; a 45 mile (sorry, can I just say - 72  km!) cycle from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle in support of the Prince's Trust.

The Prince's Trust is a fantastic youth charity that helps young people aged 13-30 get into jobs, education and training.

As you all know the cycling efforts in my life so far have been particularly arduous; cycling to Scheveningen beach in the summer to get a good tan,  the annual cycle up in the Highlands which includes a 'refreshment' stop at the Boathouse and let's not forget that time I went to Kenya and cycled for 3 days for Duke of Edinburgh Gold, 10+ years ago.. so naturally I'm well prepared for this event...

But seriously, it's for a excellent cause - any donations would be greatly appreciated and would give me support to get up on the 1st October and give it my best shot!

Thanks and love

Kirsten
