Tuberculosis (TB) kills 2 million people a year, despite the fact that it is curable. And it's on the increase in Britain too. TB Alert raises awareness of TB and supports projects around the world to treat people effectively and stop the disease spreading. Our work saves lives.

Our personal message:

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. We are raising money for the tuberculosis program at Murambinda Mission Hospital in rural Zimbabwe. This is a really worthy cause - curing TB is one of the single most effective health interventions, even in the presence of HIV, allowing people to get back to work and to look after their families.

More information about the program can be found at http://www.fmh.org.uk/ or http://www.tbalert.org/projects/zimbabwe/murambinda.php. We are all either running the Beaujolais Nouveau marathon (42km) or the 12km.
