Fundraising for The Surrey Care Trust
Hello!
On 30th March I will be doing a sponsored firewalk at Woking FC to raise money for the brilliant Surrey Care Trust. After a training session called "learn or burn" (eeek) I will walk across 20 feet of hot coals which will be burning at 1236 degrees farenheit...
I'll also be celebrating my birthday on the 30th, so if the fab local charity and the possibility of me getting burnt aren't enough to get you to dig deep, then maybe that will!
The Surrey Care Trust’s vision is to transform the life chances and aspirations of local people who are marginalised by disadvantage and lack of opportunity or who need a second chance. They run a range of different programmes and much of their work today is providing education and training, giving young people and adults a second chance to gain the skills and qualifications they need to transform their life chances. They work with people of all ages to help them acquire skills to improve their economic situation, to reduce their social isolation and to convince them they have a valuable contribution to make to society. Thanks a million x x x http://www.surreycaretrust.co.uk/index.html* Charities pay a small fee for our service. Find out how much it is and what we do for it.
