In July 2013 I completed the London Triathlon in memory of an amazing lady, my Nan Pat. In 2014 I will be taking on an even bigger challenge.... The London Marathon! 

This time I will be raising money for the Stroke Association. 

Both sides of my family have been affected by Strokes that lead to the sudden loss of my Nana Friend and the slow deterioration of my Grandad Roy.

Raising the awareness of the symptoms of a Stroke is so important, as time is key, and had my Grandad & Nana been more aware they could still be with us today. 

The Stroke Association not only help to raise awareness of Strokes, but also support sufferers and their families as well as funding research into the prevention and treatment of Strokes.
