First Step is an Opportunity Group for babies and pre-school children with special needs and disabilities, and their families, living in L.B.Havering. FS provides support, guidance and information and a vast array of early support services for the children enabling them to build and develop their early skills.

My story

On the Sunday 6th September I will be throwing myself, sorry abseiling, off the Romford YMCA approx 140 foot.....possibly dressed as a Ladybird!!

I will be doing this in memory of Isabel Butcher and raising funds for local charity First Step.

I have worked with Isabel's dad John for about 4 years, and although I never actually met Isabel, I loved getting up dates on her progress and still now spend far too much "work" time talking with John about Isabel!!
