Shift.ms is the social network for people with multiple sclerosis. Founded by MSers, for MSers, the charity supports many thousands of recently diagnosed people across the world, as they make sense of MS. It’s independent and it’s free.

Story

Hiya Pals!

I have been wanting to do something to raise money for Shift.ms for a while now because they are a really great charity and I feel really lucky that they exist. They create really brilliant videos and their website has been super helpful to me when I have been in really tough times, and so I feel like I want to give something back.

As anyone who knows me even slightly will know, I am super addicted to sugar. So for October* I will not be drinking Irn Bru (yes, I, Kirsty Nicolson, intend to give up Irn Bru), or any other fizzy or sugary drink, and I will not be eating Starbursts, Jelly Tots, Raspberry Ruffles, or any other sweetie. I won't be eating any sugary treats at all. Maybe if I do it for a month I won't be so reliant on it after? It will probably be super good for me. But I am a self sabotager so if I just did this on my own I would probably give up and down two liters of liquid girders in ten seconds and then regret all my life choices, so if you sponsor me then I will stay motivated and I won't give up. My teeth and my waistline and shift.ms will all be super grateful!

PLEASE SPONSOR ME, I AM GOING TO FIND THIS SO HARD!

Love from Kirsty xXx

*Tysabri days (3rd and 31st of October) don't count because those days suck enough and I don't want to make them any worse. I will do two extra days in November if you want, who knows by the time I get to the 31st the very idea of added sugar might repulse me! Here's hoping!
