Flora London Marathon 2008 · 13 April 2008 ·

North London Hospice supports more than 3,500 people with a life-limiting illness each year in the communities of Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey. Established in 1984, we are committed to empowering our patients through our vision which is to provide the best of life, at the end of life, for everyone.

Story

For some crazy reason I have decided to run the London Marathon for a second year in a row. You would have thought that I learnt my lesson from last year!!

I am raising money for the North London Hospice, a local charity based in Finchley which provides care and support to people suffering from terminal illness. My dad's brother spent his last few weeks there last year and so I know from first hand experience the excellent work they do there. Last year I managed to raise around £900 so this year I am aiming to improve on that.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: North London Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Your support is very much appreciated.
