This August, I'm planning on a daring climb up Mt. Kilamanjaro with my brother and some friends (I know, some of you who know me well must think I'm crazy!) The climb will be in aid of BEHT, a charity aimed at providing education and help to impoverished people in Gujarat, India. 

I've been helping this charity for the past 10 years and the change I've seen over this time has been astonishing. With the charity focusing on children's education, the school has acheived remarkable results with an ever-increasing number going on to higher education. The charity has also recently built a hospital, which will serve a population of 600,000, many of whom would not have had any form of previous healthcare.

My personal aim is to raise at least £6000, which will be used to buy hospital equipment to deliver affordable and self sustaining primary and emergency healthcare to those in need.
