Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Two weeks before christmas last year, we received the tragic and incredibley sad news that our friend and work collegue Lee (Leroy) Johnson died in his sleep. Lee suffered from epilepsy, something only a few people knew at the place where he worked and it was a seizure in his sleep that so sadly killed him at such a young age of 24.
Lee was a great guy and a very happy guy who loved his sport, especially his beloved Leeds United. He got on with everyone he met and had a great close relationship with his family.
The morning before he died, Lee had been for an interview for football coaching training in America. a couple of days after his death his dad Simon and the rest of his family recieved the news he was accepted for the course. Something we can all agree we are very proud of Lee for.
We decided we wanted to run the Bupa Manchester 10K in honour of Lee and to help raise awareness of epilepsy and to aid research.
We've managed to round up about 35 people to take part which include work colleagues, friends and family and we are looking to raise round £4.5k.
Lee will be greatly missed, but always remembered.
Cheers.
Team Leroy
