The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Princes Trust does a simple thing: They help young disadvantaged  people overcome barriers,  both personal and social, and get their lives working through employment, education or training.

One such young man recently spent a placement at our office.  Having never previously attended a meeting, used email or even worn a tie it was all a very new experience, but one he embraced with real energy and enthusiasm.  Thanks to the support from The Prince's Trust he was able to gain real-world experiences which, since leaving our office, have in turn enabled him to secure his "first real job", breaking the cycle (no pun intended!) of unemployment and casual labour.
