The Stroke Association - Thames Bridges Bike Ride 2011 · 22 May 2011 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

On the 15th November 2010 my husband Paul had a stroke age 39.

The road of recovery has not been easy with many highs and lows. We have had amazing support from our family and friends- espeically my mum, sister, Barbie and Elms family church and we be forever in their debt.

I am doing this bike ride with Barbie Jackson to raise awareness about strokes and to raise as much money for the stroke assosciation as we can.

To also raise awareness that younger people have strokes too!
