Sabre Education is an international NGO providing children in Ghana and beyond with the best possible early childhood education, by partnering with government to implement play-based learning at scale. Sabre has 19 years experience designing and implementing play-based learning programmes in Ghana.

Story

On Sunday 15 June the Knight Frank Home Counties offices are entering a team in the Marlow Dragon Boat Festival to raise money for the Sabre Charitable Trust.

In true Knight Frank style we'll be paddling in our Best Western fancy dress, and we're determined to win the regatta, or at least the prize for best dressed team!

Not only is this a great day out for the team, but we are also raising funds to build two new kindergarten schools in Ghana.  The Sabre Charitable Trust works with the local education authorities to build schools in areas of greatest need - in many cases the children don't have proper classrooms and are taught under trees or in private houses.  By providing better classrooms and working with teachers to implement a learn-through-play approach to kindergarten teaching, the charity is able give these children a much better start to their education.
